Grice kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is GZA - Shadowboxin'. Marshal has chosen ЦельРазгроl as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Aleksei Marshal!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marshal throws a leg kick but Grice checks it.
Grice wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Marshal clobbers Grice with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Grice ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Grice checks a low kick from Marshal.
Grice connects with the punch.
Marshal throws a lazy uppercut
and Marshal takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Aleksei Marshal has been cut.
Grice seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A solid body kick from Marshal.
A slapping body kick lands there for Grice.
Grice cracks Marshal with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Marshal is rocked!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marshal, right into the meat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Grice fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Grice looks for the body kick but Marshal saw that one coming.
A low kick from Marshal misses
and Grice counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marshal is still on wobbly legs! Can Grice finish him?

That's one minute gone in the round.
Grice circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Marshal to the canvas! Marshal doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Grice keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

After the fight, Gary Grice was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
