The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitehouse throws a shot from downtown. Fitzpatrick moves away and avoids it.
Whitehouse throws a series of punches but Fitzpatrick avoids them all with ease.
Whitehouse throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Whitehouse dodges the punch combination from Fitzpatrick.
Whitehouse misses with a few strikes there.
A little jabbing left from Fitzpatrick on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Whitehouse swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Whitehouse lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Whitehouse was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Fitzpatrick throws out a loose jab but Whitehouse uses good head movement to avoid it.

Whitehouse moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Fitzpatrick throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Whitehouse works the jab nicely.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fitzpatrick lands a left and a right that send Whitehouse crashing to the mat, dazed. Fitzpatrick thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Whitehouse rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fitzpatrick moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fitzpatrick fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Nice straight punches there by Fitzpatrick. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Fitzpatrick.

Whitehouse is rocked!
Fitzpatrick is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Whitehouse flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Whitehouse is out cold! Fitzpatrick holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
