The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Contonio throws a nice inside leg kick.
Contonio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Contonio enables Graves to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Contonio manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Contonio lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Contonio wants to get up but he can't break Graves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Graves looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Contonio is defending well. Graves quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Contonio has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Graves celebrates on the ropes, with the crowd.
