Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between AG Pennypacker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and KJ Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, AG Pennypacker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, KJ Talley!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Saam Ante and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pennypacker lands with a slapping head kick.
Talley chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Pennypacker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Talley's waist but Talley gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pennypacker off to one side.
It seemed like Talley was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Pennypacker misses with a head kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pennypacker, as that shot connected.
Pennypacker slips under a jab.
Talley blocks a head kick by Pennypacker.
Talley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Pennypacker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Talley scores with a decent looking hook.
Pennypacker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Talley scores with a leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pennypacker slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Talley misses with a body shot.
Talley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Pennypacker.
Nice cross by Talley.
Talley misses with a straight right.
Pennypacker was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Talley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Talley and Pennypacker goes tumbling to the canvas! Talley follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.


Pennypacker is rocked!
Pennypacker tries to kick Talley off but Talley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Oh Pennypacker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Talley is trying to control the action in half guard but Pennypacker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pennypacker seems to have got his legs back now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Talley wants to free his trapped foot but Pennypacker is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Pennypacker is looking for a sweep. Talley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Pennypacker looks like he's trying to stand up.
Talley wants to pass to mount but Pennypacker is defending the position.
Talley trying to advance position but Pennypacker counters by regaining guard.
Talley pushes down on Pennypacker's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Talley in particular looking to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pennypacker tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Talley manages to move to mount!

Talley with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Pennypacker is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Talley wants to control the pace but Pennypacker is squirming around nicely.
Pennypacker working to try and regain half guard.
Pennypacker prevents Talley from taking his back.
Pennypacker wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Talley looking for the RNC.
Pennypacker tries to escape but Talley has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pennypacker is trying to roll into a better position but Talley has get a rear naked choke and Pennypacker is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). KJ Talley!
KJ Talley bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
