Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Lodano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vaan Tseng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Vaan Tseng enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lucas Lodano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vaan Tseng!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Tseng.

Tseng looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Lodano has hold of Tseng's hands but Tseng slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

It looks like Vaan Tseng has been cut.
Lodano throws a hook but Tseng blocks it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tseng! But no joy.
Tseng tests Lodano's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Tseng connects with a jab.
Tseng takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Lodano misses with a looping left.
Tseng looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Tseng. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
Lodano just misses with a punch to the body.
Tseng avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tseng fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lodano throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lodano slips a jab and a cross from Tseng.

Lodano shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tseng napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Lodano is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Tseng is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Lodano wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tseng keeps working.

Lodano is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Tseng has managed to free his arm - good work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Tseng avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lodano.
The strikes coming from Lodano are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Tseng is looking to regain half guard here but Lodano keeps moving and retains side control.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Vaan Tseng seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lodano takes a jab right on the kisser.
Tseng scores with a nice head shot.
Lodano lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lodano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tseng momentarily.
Tseng throws a leg kick which misses Lodano's front leg but catches the back leg as Lodano tries to avoid it.
Tseng attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Tseng misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Tseng counters with a nice body shot.
Tseng jabs Lodano right on the nose. Lodano blinks but takes it well.
Lodano throws a hook but Tseng avoids it easily.

Vaan Tseng comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tseng has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Vaan Tseng tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
