Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Afro Samurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Fedor Hunt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 51 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Afro Samurai!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hunt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Samurai swings for the body but Hunt moves out of range.
Hunt attempts a counter takedown but Samurai avoids it well and moves away.
Samurai scores with a three punch combo!
Samurai clobbers Hunt with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Hunt throws a looping overhand right but Samurai ducks down to avoid it.
A countering left hand to the body from Samurai misses.

Hunt dives in and scores a takedown into Samurai's guard.
Samurai wants to get back to his feet but Hunt passes into half guard.
Samurai is looking to escape.

Hunt seems to be working for a kimura but Samurai defends the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hunt perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Hunt has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Samurai ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hunt moves away.

Nice takedown defense from Samurai. No joy for Hunt on that attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Samurai misses with a hook. Hunt ducked under it nicely.

Samurai stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Samurai wants it to stay on the feet.

Samurai throws a lazy right hand but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Hunt cracks Samurai with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Samurai looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hunt finish him?

Hunt jabbing away but nothing is landing.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hunt throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Samurai sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Hunt misses with a looping right.
Hunt shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Samurai sprawls well. Samurai wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hunt gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Hunt takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Hunt cracks Samurai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hunt has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Samurai to stand back up!

Hunt drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Samurai bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Samurai is breathing heavily.

Hunt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Samurai was covering up waiting for the punch and Hunt finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Samurai is looking to stand up but Hunt isn't so interested in that idea.

Hunt scores with a jab. Samurai acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Samurai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hunt.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Samurai moves away from the strike by Hunt.

Hunt sends Samurai crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hunt is motioning to the referee to let Samurai up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!


Samurai is rocked!

Hunt shoots and scores a devastating slam takedown! Samurai is unconscious as Hunt celebrates over his stricken foe!
