The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Pancake slaps away a takedown attempt from Hammond, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hammond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pancake manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Pancake is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Pancake wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hammond, who protects the arm well.

Pancake is looking to take a break and control but Hammond is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Pancake is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hammond looks calm but he's in trouble here. Pancake gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hammond is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Pancake lets go of the hold and Hammond can pop his arm back in it's socket.
