Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Mick Gerrard and David Yung. Gerrard's entrance music is Mama weer all crazy now. A fine choice. Yung comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 陳小春 - 亂世巨星 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Mick Gerrard! And in the blue corner, fighting out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; David Yung!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Daniel Bishop.


The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gerrard stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Yung swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Yung keeping moving, preventing Gerrard from controlling successfully.

Yung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gerrard gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gerrard drops back looking for a leg! Yung is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Yung manages to kick Gerrard off! Gerrard jumps back into Yung's guard.
Gerrard wants to pass the guard but Yung is keeping the position.

Gerrard pushes down on Yung's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Yung looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Yung makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Yung.
Gerrard passes into half guard.

Gerrard is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gerrard tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gerrard has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Yung is not content to let Gerrard control the position.

Gerrard is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Yung knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Yung has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gerrard doesn't defend quickly enough and Yung has managed to lock this one up! Can Gerrard escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Yung on a fantastic submission victory.
