Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dzuzaska Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateus Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guzman comes into the arena with Tupac- Ambitionz Az a Ridah blaring out of the sound system. Gracie has chosen Broke & Hungry as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

With a record of 18 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mateus Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Guzman definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Guzman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Guzman.
Gracie misses with a wild body shot.
Gracie moves out of range of the leg kick from Guzman.
Gracie dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Guzman. That did some damage!

Gracie is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Guzman rather than just go for the knockout.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Gracie working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
Guzman can't do much from the bottom here.
Guzman manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Gracie looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Guzman with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Gracie there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Gracie lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Guzman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Guzman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Guzman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Guzman has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.

Gracie lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Guzman is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Guzman stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Guzman!

I would just about give that final round to Mateus Gracie.
