Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Tremblay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Azamat Secoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Tremblay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Azamat Secoy!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tremblay dives in and scores a takedown into Secoy's guard.

Tremblay is pushing down on Secoy's leg trying to pass to half guard. Secoy is fighting to maintain full guard but Tremblay has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Secoy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Tremblay wants to take a breather but Secoy is having none of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Tremblay's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Secoy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tremblay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Secoy pushes Tremblay away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Tremblay gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Secoy is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Tremblay dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Secoy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Tremblay tries to score a power double leg takedown but Secoy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tremblay somewhat.
Secoy swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Secoy throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Tremblay closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Secoy's guard.

Mark Tremblay overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Secoy can do anything to dispel that myth.
Tremblay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Secoy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tremblay is nestled in close to Secoy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Tremblay is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Secoy can do to turn this around?

Oooooh, big shot lands for Tremblay! Secoy is hurt baaadly! Tremblay is firing away with more strikes - Secoy is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
