Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell Bitchping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evgenii Mamchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bitchping might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sandstorm - Darude. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mamchenko is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bitchping's half guard.

Mamchenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Let's hope that Mamchenko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Evgenii Mamchenko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Mitchell Bitchping was interviewed post fight and said 'It's a shame. I thought I had a good strategy going in but he's a truly excellent fighter man '.
