Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Big Base (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sampsa Pellervoinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sampsa Pellervoinen!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Base clinches with his opponent.
Pellervoinen working hard to break the clinch.
Base wants a takedown.
Base tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pellervoinen smiles and moves away.
Base rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Pellervoinen counters with a straight right hand.
Base takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Pellervoinen lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Base is rocked!
It looks like Big Base has been cut.
Base shoots for a takedown but Pellervoinen saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oh Base is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Base. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pellervoinen is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Base flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Base is out cold! Pellervoinen holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
