The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lak rushes Morgan and presses him up against the cage.

Lak pulls guard.
Morgan works over Lak with some ground and pound from guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lak managing to control the position.
Lak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Morgan throws a strike but Lak rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Lak postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morgan pushes Lak off and scrambles back to his feet.

Morgan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Morgan stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Lak has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Morgan manages to get his head free but now Lak has transitioned to an armbar! Morgan grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Lak! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
