Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Makwan Lak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Felding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Makwan Lak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mo Felding!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lak thuds his shin into the meat of Felding's side.

Lak forces Felding back against the cage and clinches.
Felding wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lak tries to land knees in the clinch but Felding avoids the damage to the body.

Lak breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Lak gets a double leg takedown into Felding's guard.
Felding pulls Lak in close to prevent any damage.
Lak is stalling in the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lak tries to free his leg and advance position but Felding is retaining full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Felding preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lak trying to control but Felding is working from the bottom.
Lak works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Lak is looking to take a break and control but Felding is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Felding really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lak not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Felding is doing well to control the position and prevent Lak from advancing to side control.
Lak is trying to control the action in half guard but Felding is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Felding scores with a punch to the head.
Lak swings widly with a right hand
and Felding counters with a nice uppercut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Felding, as that shot connected.
Lak misses with a leg kick
and Felding counters with a nice uppercut.
Felding fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lak on the side of the head.
Felding misses with an uppercut. Lak saw that one coming.
Lak shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Felding pinned against the cage. Felding gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Felding looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Felding throws a jab when Lak was well out of range.
Lak throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Felding to counter with a crisp jab.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lak takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lak tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lak takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Felding scores with a body shot.
Felding throws a shot to the body.
Mo Felding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lak gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Felding counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lak is breathing heavily.
Lak is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Lak is rocked!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Felding engages and cracks Lak with a massive lead left hook - Lak tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Felding is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
