The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison shoots in for a double leg but Thompson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Thompson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Harrison is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Thompson defends it well.
Harrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Harrison is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Thompson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Harrison is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Thompson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Thompson shrugs it off.

Harrison wants to finish this one by submission but Thompson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Harrison.
