Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ikuhisa Matsumoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Corll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matsumoto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Corll was well out of range. Poor timing from Matsumoto.
It seemed like Corll was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Matsumoto looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Matsumoto slips a jab from Corll.
The fight stays on the outside here - Matsumoto looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Corll looks to throw the jab but Matsumoto is out of range.

Corll lands a left and a right that send Matsumoto crashing to the mat, dazed. Corll thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Matsumoto is rocked!

It looks like Ikuhisa Matsumoto has been cut.
Corll takes a swing at Matsumoto's ribcage but misses.
Matsumoto moves out of range as Corll strikes.
Corll throws a shot from downtown. Matsumoto moves away and avoids it.
Matsumoto loads up on a big right hand but Corll slips the punch.
Corll looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Corll takes one to the side of the head.
Matsumoto takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Oh Matsumoto is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Corll throws a jab when Matsumoto was well out of range.
An attempted straight right counter from Matsumoto misses the target.
