The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lupertazzi is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Ohmsford stands up over Lupertazzi, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lupertazzi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ohmsford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ohmsford makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ohmsford wants to pass the guard but Lupertazzi is keeping the position.

Lupertazzi looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Ohmsford has picked Lupertazzi up and slammed him! Lupertazzi can't keep hold of the triangle and Ohmsford manages to pass to side control!

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Ohmsford swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Lupertazzi is now in Ohmsford's guard. A big mistake from Ohmsford there, giving up the dominant position!

Lupertazzi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
