I think Idowu might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to My name is Prince. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idowu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Pain as he avoids it easily.

Pain gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Idowu accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Pain controls Idowu momentarily but Idowu frees himself.
Idowu scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Pain pushes a forearm under Idowu's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Idowu is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Royal Pain!
