Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ron Bob!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gus McKenna!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Marco Blurström and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob shoots for a double leg takedown but McKenna sprawls well. He's pushed Bob's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McKenna looks to land a right hand but Bob moved out of range.
McKenna has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Bob doesn't succeed with the takedown
and McKenna cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bob looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
McKenna catches Bob with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
McKenna scores with a nice strike.


It looks like Ron Bob has been cut.
Bob has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McKenna.
McKenna smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sloppy strikes from McKenna. Those never looked like landing.
Bob blocks a head kick by McKenna.

Bob throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. McKenna tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Bob is in McKenna's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McKenna can do anything to dispel that myth.
McKenna has control of Bob's left arm, preventing Bob from doing any damage.

McKenna is pulling down on Bob's head to control his posture.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McKenna stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Gus McKenna will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ron Bob's cut.
That's time! Bob's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


McKenna scores with the left hand. Bob knows he should have avoided that one.
Bob shoots in looking for a takedown. McKenna tries to sprawl out of it but Bob keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McKenna manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bob seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gus McKenna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from McKenna - that will leave a mark!
McKenna fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bob.
Bob shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McKenna defends it nicely.
Ron Bob is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McKenna connects with a jab.

McKenna lands with a thumping leg kick.
McKenna lands with an overhand left.
An inside leg kick lands from McKenna.
McKenna scoring well with a low kick there.
McKenna works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
McKenna scores with a hook to the body. Bob takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Gus McKenna is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bob is rocked!
McKenna lands a nice hook to Bob's body. Bob takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McKenna drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Bob right on the button. Bob goes down! McKenna follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! McKenna gets the win via TKO!
