Coming up we have a super heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Alejandro Scott and Miklo Velka. The crowd seem to be enjoying Velka's choice of entrance music: Cypress Hill - Insane In The Membrane. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

In the red corner, competing out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Alejandro Scott! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 0 losses; Miklo Velka!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Steven Brown and Donald Grub.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Scott closes the distance and clinches.
Velka wants to take the fight to the mat but Scott manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Velka tries to score a body lock takedown but Scott shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Scott decides to pull guard.
Velka slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Scott has his hands on Velka's head, controlling the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Scott controls Velka momentarily but Velka frees himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scott wants to sweep but no luck.

Velka tries to free his leg and advance position but Scott is retaining full guard.

Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Velka has control of Scott's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Scott regains control of the situation pretty easily.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Velka takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Velka is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Scott to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Scott shrugs it off.
Scott gets back to half guard.

Velka wants to lay and pray for a moment but Scott keeps working.

Velka uses his free foot to push down on Scott's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Scott.

Scott tries to lock up and control but Velka gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Velka wins on points by 6 to 0.
Miklo Velka is the new super heavyweight champion!
