The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson lands a head shot.
Wesson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Nice jab there from Wesson.
Ugoh throws the kick towards the body but Wesson avoids it.
Wesson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Ugoh lands with a nice body kick.
Wesson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Ugoh tries to land a body kick
and Wesson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Wesson avoids the head kick by Ugoh.
Wesson takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ugoh is looking to land body kicks.
Ugoh tries to land a front kick but Wesson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Ugoh connects with a leg kick. Wesson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Ugoh drops his hands momentarily and Wesson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Wesson moves out of range as Ugoh throws a body kick.
Wesson tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ugoh tries a head kick but it misses.

Wesson connects with a right hand. Ugoh shakes it off.
Ugoh misses with a head kick.

Wesson drops Ugoh with a big left hand and mounts him. Ugoh is in big trouble!

Ugoh is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ugoh is trying to escape the mount but Wesson keeps good control and instead manages to take Ugoh's back.
Ugoh is still in real trouble! Can Wesson finish him?
Wesson is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Ugoh seems to have recovered his senses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wesson has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Ugoh is in real trouble here. Wesson gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Ugoh is tapping out! Wesson wins by rear naked choke!
