The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Tights's head.
Tights lands a nice looking body shot.
Tights takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Tights has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

and Tights counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Benson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Barracks - LOD in the buildup to the fight.
Benson scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tights tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Benson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Benson seems to have got his legs back now.
Benson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tights moves away.

and Tights counters with a crisp right hand that drops Benson! Tights lets Benson back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
