Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between AJ McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Seb Sha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, AJ McKenzie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seb Sha!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie ducks under a wild hook from Sha.
Sha smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Sha throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McKenzie cracks Sha with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sha loads up on a big right hand but McKenzie slips the punch.
McKenzie takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Sha misses with a looping right.
It looked like McKenzie wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Sha throws a half hearted mid kick.
McKenzie throwing a counter right hand but Sha manages to avoid it.
McKenzie blocks a leg kick.
McKenzie with a nice cross.
Sha looks to land a right hand but McKenzie moved out of range.
McKenzie misses the shot to the body.
Sha let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Sha throws a body punch but McKenzie moves out of range.
McKenzie throws a lazy right hand but Sha sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
McKenzie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sha manages to avoid it.
Sha swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
McKenzie throws a big shot that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sha misses with a body shot
and McKenzie counters with a stiff right hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sha.
Sha lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McKenzie at a distance.
McKenzie scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
McKenzie moves away from the strike by Sha.
McKenzie throws a looping overhand right but Sha ducks down to avoid it.
Sha scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sha fails to land the takedown.
It looked like McKenzie was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sha.

Oooooh!!! McKenzie has knocked Sha down with a huge combo! McKenzie steps away and waves a wobbly Sha back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!


Sha is rocked!
Sha has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
AJ McKenzie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Sha counters with a slapping leg kick.
McKenzie avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sha scores with a leg kick.
Sha throws a solid leg kick but McKenzie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sha.
McKenzie throws a body shot but no joy.
McKenzie swings for the body but Sha moves out of range.
Seb Sha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sha throws a lazy head kick
and McKenzie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sha. That's going to slow McKenzie down.
McKenzie sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

McKenzie feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Sha sprawling to the canvas! Sha rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can McKenzie finish him?!
Sha is still on wobbly legs! Can McKenzie finish him?
McKenzie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Sha clobbers McKenzie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sha misses with a kick to the body
and McKenzie counters with a huge left! Sha is in big trouble! He's backing up but McKenzie isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Sha from any more damage. A dominating finish by McKenzie!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). AJ McKenzie!
A very excited looking AJ McKenzie made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
