Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pasi Pulkannaru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Uthe Haas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pulkannaru might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Judas Priest - Pain Killer. Haas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 2cztery7 - Rozpoznaj. Pasi Pulkannaru has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pasi Pulkannaru!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Uthe Haas!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulkannaru throws a head kick that misses.
Haas changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Haas displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pulkannaru.
Pasi Pulkannaru seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haas keeps the fight on the outside.

Pulkannaru really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've been hearing good reports from Pulkannaru's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Haas fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pulkannaru manages to avoid it.

Pulkannaru knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haas on the ground.

Well Haas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Uthe Haas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Pasi Pulkannaru had this to say: 'Dang, the fattest dude won this time'.
