Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Pervis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Winston Alpacca and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pervis throws a right hand that Dux ducks under and follows up with a left that Dux also avoids with ease.
Pervis throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pervis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dux displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pervis.
Dux has managed to clinch.

Pervis tightens his grip and picks Dux up, before dumping him to the ground. Dux manages to land in guard.
