The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zmija missing with a left hand there. Tow was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

It looks like Big Tow has been cut.
Tow uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Zmija.
Tow looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Sloppy strikes from Zmija. Those never looked like landing.
Tow seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Big Tow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Zmija gets caught flat footed, as Tow shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tow throws an elbow that misses. Zmija uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tow's guard. Nice move by Zmija!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Zmija loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Tow wants to stand and escape but Zmija is having none of it.
Zmija looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Tow has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zmija off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Tow shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Zmija defends it nicely.

Tow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Zmija as he avoids it easily.
Zmija goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Zmija will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Zmija defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tow.

Zmija throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Tow fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Zmija avoids it really well and circles away.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zmija! But no joy.
Zmija will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zmija sprawls well. Zmija wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tow gets slowly back to his feet.

Zmija misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tow fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Tow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zmija throws out the jab.
Otocanin Zmija is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Zmija throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Horrible takedown attempt by Tow or perhaps it was just good defense by Zmija, which made it look bad.

Zmija swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Tow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zmija.
Tow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Tow shoots in for a double leg but Zmija sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tow tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Zmija defends well and Tow ends up having to push Zmija into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Tow shoots for a double leg takedown but Zmija sprawls well. He's pushed Tow's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Tow darts in looking for a takedown but Zmija gets double underhooks and turns Tow into the cage.
Zmija jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Big Tow's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Zmija might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Tow shoots in for a double leg but Zmija sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Tow is breathing heavily.
Zmija lands a nice hook to Tow's body. Tow takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Tow seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Zmija shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Tow is backing up but Zmija catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Tow covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Zmija Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otocanin Zmija!
Otocanin Zmija bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
