Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tonino Barile (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hideo Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hideo Sakurai!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai throws a right and a left that both miss.
Barile throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Barile tries a head kick but it misses.
Sakurai misses with a looping right.
Sakurai throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Barile looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Barile throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sakurai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barile manages to avoid it.
Barile slips under a jab.
Barile throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Sakurai punishes Barile's body with a nice straight punch.
Sakurai throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barile on the side of the head.
Barile displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sakurai throws out the jab.
Sakurai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sakurai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barile.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Barile throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Sakurai drops Barile with a beautiful combination! Barile stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Sakurai is looking for the KO!

Barile is rocked!

It looks like Tonino Barile has been cut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barile walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Barile limp body while Sakurai jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hideo Sakurai!
A less than humble Hideo Sakurai misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
