Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shit Face (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Face comes into the arena with Blue clear sky blaring out of the sound system. Gabriel Rua has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Face.
Face on the wrong end of a kick to the body.

Rua forces Face back against the cage and clinches.
Face is working for takedown but Rua is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rua throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rua lands a right hand that snaps the head of Face backwards.
A short body shot lands from Rua as the two fighters clinch.

Face has hold of one of Rua's legs. Rua is fighting the takedown attempt but Face gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Face trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Face stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rua swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Face is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rua wants to get back to full guard.

Face is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rua sees it coming and defends easily.

Face is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Rua is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Face's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Face's back!
Rua is trying to stick to Face's back but Face is turning into Rua. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Rua's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Face.

Face looking to sit in guard and control but Rua gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Face keeping moving, preventing Rua from controlling successfully.
