A bone on bone clash there as dAnconia blocks the leg kick.
Ihejirika on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Ihejirika scores with a hook to the body. dAnconia takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Ihejirika looks to throw a body kick
and dAnconia counters with a thumping low kick.
Ihejirika throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and dAnconia counters with a nice leg kick.
dAnconia lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ihejirika looks winded!
dAnconia lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Good leg kick by dAnconia there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Ihejirika throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and dAnconia counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ihejirika thinking.
dAnconia feints with a jab and clips Ihejirika right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Ihejirika is sent crashing into the canvas and dAnconia leaps in for the kill! Ihejirika tries to get to his feet but dAnconia is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Ihejirika is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Francisco dAnconia!
After winning the bout, Francisco dAnconia thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
