Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ely Scrubs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taiga Jim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by I Know There's Something Going On. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Chris Edwards and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jim scores with a head kick. Scrubs tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Jim lands a nice shot that snaps Scrubs's head back.
Scrubs misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jim counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jim darts in and clinches Scrubs up against the cage.
Jim has a couple of punches blocked by Scrubs.
Jim fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Jim manages to break the clinch.
Jim has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Scrubs takes a swing at Jim's ribcage but misses.
Jim throws a push kick but Scrubs slaps the foot to one side.
Scrubs misses the shot to the body.
Jim wants to slow Scrubs down by chopping away at his legs.
Jim lands a nice leg kick that just misses Scrubs's sensitive parts.
Scrubs's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jim connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Scrubs scrambles back to his feet.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Jim lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scrubs has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scrubs and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Jim cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Scrubs throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jim uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Scrubs.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Scrubs checks a leg kick.
Scrubs slips a jab from Jim.

Scrubs pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jim is out of range and Scrubs settles back down.
Scrubs is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Jim misses with an uppercut
and Scrubs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Scrubs avoids a punch combination nicely.
Scrubs with a nice cross.
Jim with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Scrubs, as that shot connected.
Scrubs avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jim bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Scrubs's head.

Scrubs throws the left hand but Jim avoids the punch easily.

It looked like Scrubs was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Jim.
Jim steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Scrubs.
Jim drives through and clinches with Scrubs against the cage.

Come on Scrubs - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Jim throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Scrubs stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Scrubs ducks right into an uppercut from Jim.
Jim throws a low kick, looking for Scrubs's leg but Scrubs calmly moves out of range.
Scrubs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jim slips under a jab.

Jim keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Scrubs.
Scrubs throws a lazy uppercut
and Jim counters with a slapping leg kick.
Scrubs takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Scrubs throws a jab but it's blocked by Jim.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jim! But no joy.
Jim throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Scrubs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jim throws a shot to the body.
Jim is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Scrubs had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Scrubs throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Scrubs tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Scrubs takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Scrubs takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Scrubs moves out of range of the body kick from Jim.

Scrubs is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Jim.
Jim goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Scrubs takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Scrubs pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

BOOM! Scrubs lands a beautiful left hook that drops Jim. Jim tries to recover but Scrubs is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Jim lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A very excited looking Ely Scrubs made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
