Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tony Benson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Spiteri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiteri has chosen AC/DC -TNT as his entrance music. Tony Benson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 29 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Tony Benson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Dave Spiteri!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benson takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Benson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Spiteri is out of range and Benson settles back down.
Benson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Benson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
A jab from Spiteri does it's job there.
Spiteri has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Benson is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Benson keeps the fight on the outside.
Benson takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Spiteri, as that shot connected.

Spiteri has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well Spiteri has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
