Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beattie throws a head kick that misses.
Steaphan Beattie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Inclan shoots in looking for a takedown. Beattie tries to sprawl out of it but Inclan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Beattie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Beattie throws a counter combo.
Inclan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Inclan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Inclan misses with a takedown attempt - Beattie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beattie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Inclan stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Beattie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Inclan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Inclan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Inclan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Inclan closes the distance and clinches up with Beattie, looking for a takedown. Inclan pushes Beattie against the cage but Beattie circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rafael Inclan. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Steaphan Beattie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Inclan walks into a left hand.
Oh Inclan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beattie looks to land a combination but Inclan avoids it well.
Inclan throws a big counter combination but Beattie scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Inclan seems to have got his legs back now.
Inclan moves in looking to clinch but Beattie pushes him off.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Inclan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Beattie - the referee stops the clock and Inclan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Beattie. Inclan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Beattie cracks Inclan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Beattie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Beattie moves out of range of the body kick.
Beattie cracks Inclan with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Beattie lands a nice hook to Inclan's body. Inclan takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Beattie lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Inclan uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Beattie.
Inclan appears to be looking for a big counter.
Inclan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beattie pinned against the cage. Beattie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Beattie is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Inclan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The fight stays on the outside here - Inclan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Beattie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Inclan's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Beattie loads up on a big right hand but Inclan slips the punch.

Beattie dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Beattie throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Beattie lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Nice uppercut lands for Beattie. That snapped Inclan's head back.

Inclan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beattie is fending him off so far but Inclan persists. Nope, Beattie circles away and we're back to standing.
Inclan walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Inclan might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Beattie drops Inclan with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Inclan! Beattie dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
