Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Olaf Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes to the cage accompanied by O-Zone - Dragostea Din Tei. James has chosen Tuesday's Gone as his entrance music. Olaf Frost had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Tommy James!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James swinging wildly here.

James takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
James fails to land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
James looks to land a combination. Frost sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
James misses the shot to the body.
Nice defenses there by Frost.
James throws a jab but it's blocked by Frost.
Frost appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.

and Frost cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Frost cracks James with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Olaf Frost will probably get the nod.

James clobbers Frost with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from James! But no joy.
James throws a hook but Frost avoids it easily.

Frost feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Jamess jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

James throws a right hand that Frost ducks under and follows up with a left that Frost also avoids with ease.

and Frost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Frost is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

and Frost counters with a good low kick that James was not able to check.

James takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Frost cracks James with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
James misses with a lunging right hand
and Frost counters with an outside leg kick.

James swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Frost makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Frost closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

James is looking for a takedown.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Frost obliges.
Frost dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.

Frost tries to land knees in the clinch but James avoids the damage to the body.

Frost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Frost moves into the clinch successfully.
Frost stalls.
Frost goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Frost is pressed up against the cage. James has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Frost down to the mat. Frost avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Frost uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.
James takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
James throws a poor cross that misses
and Frost counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

And that's the end of the fight!
Olaf Frost showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Frost has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
