Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Sheppards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carl Sheppards will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Neal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carl Sheppards!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Horrible takedown attempt by Sheppards or perhaps it was just good defense by Neal, which made it look bad.

Sheppards feints a jab promting Neal to slip. Sheppards then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Neal slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Neal will probably get the nod.

Carl Sheppards really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
