Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Baba Kalua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ghazi Okah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Baba Kalua!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ghazi Okah!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okah pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Okah throws a head kick that misses.
Okah tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kalua shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Okah as he jumps to the side.

Kalua moves into the clinch.
Kalua really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Okah wants to get back to striking at distance but Kalua won't allow it.

Kalua has Okah pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kalua pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Okah tumbling to the mat - Kalua dives into Okah's guard.

Okah had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kalua defends it easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kalua is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Okah really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalua. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Okah looking for a guillotine here but Kalua defends easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kalua's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Kalua stands and steps away. Okah gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Okah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Okah throws a front kick that sends Kalua stumbling back into the cage.

Kalua darts in looking for a takedown but Okah gets double underhooks and turns Kalua into the cage.

Kalua has hold of one of Okah's legs. Okah is fighting the takedown attempt but Kalua gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Kalua cracks Okah with a solid left hand.
Okah is trying to keep Kalua in close.
Kalua postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Okah is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kalua is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kalua throws a body punch but Okah moves out of range.
Kalua throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Okah counters with a body kick.

Okah looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Okah scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
A head kick by Okah misses

and Kalua counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kalua.

Kalua has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Okah uses from the top position.

Okah got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalua has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Okah has managed to get both his arms back between Kalua's legs - danger averted.

Kalua bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Okah's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Kalua walks forward, straight into a front kick from Okah.

Kalua has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Okah clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Kalua working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Okah is doing well to defend. Kalua seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Okah is forced to tap and this one is over!
