Coming up we have a welterweight kickboxing rules bout between Nick Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cory McDonnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez comes to the ring accompanied by All Eyez On Me - Tupac. Cory McDonnell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Gonzalez !
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cory McDonnell!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonnell moves out of range of the strikes.
McDonnell is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
A decent looking body kick lands there for McDonnell.
McDonnell scores with a kick to the body.
Gonzalez jabs McDonnell right on the nose. McDonnell blinks but takes it well.
A kick lands to the mid section there for McDonnell.
A decent looking body kick lands there for McDonnell.
McDonnell thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gonzalez if he has to take too many more of those.
Gonzalez is breathing heavily.
McDonnell throws a sloppy head kick and Gonzalez moves out of range easily.
Gonzalez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gonzalez walks into a big right hand from McDonnell and goes down! The referee sends McDonnell to a neutral corner as Gonzalez gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McDonnell scoring well with a low kick there.
Gonzalez swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McDonnell counters with a nice leg kick.
McDonnell lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Gonzalez is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gonzalez takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Oh Gonzalez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McDonnell bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
McDonnell looks for a left high kick but can't connect. McDonnell backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Gonzalez 's temple! It sends Gonzalez violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as McDonnell celebrates and the doctors try to help Gonzalez !
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Cory McDonnell!
Cory McDonnell is the new welterweight champion!
Cory McDonnell very nearly forgot to thank HERITAGE! (message for laundry) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
Nick Gonzalez spoke after the fight, saying 'Aye you gotta give it to him you know. Don't worry ill be back, still repppin my city. Mad respect dog you may have won the battle but the war aint over yet motherfucker. And to the haters, fuck you too. COMPTON 818 WHUT!!!'.
