Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Max Rockatansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slick Ness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rockatansky comes to the cage accompanied by James Brown - Payback. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Slick Ness!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ness pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rockatansky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ness moves away.
Rockatansky throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rockatansky is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ness.
Rockatansky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ness sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rockatansky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Ness darts in and clinches Rockatansky up against the cage.
Ness is trying to break free.
Ness lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ness goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Rockatansky clobbers Ness with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ness gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Ness might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Ness is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rockatansky.

Rockatansky feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ness pulls Rockatansky in close to prevent any damage.
Ness wants to sweep here but Rockatansky controlling him for the moment.

Rockatansky drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rockatansky jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Ness has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rockatansky is working away from the top position though.
