The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beattie misses with a lunging right hand
and Churchill connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Churchill has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beattie told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Beattie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Churchill tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Beattie manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Churchill definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Beattie takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Beattie looks to score with a jab to the body but Churchill is just out of range.

Churchill dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Beattie. That did some damage!
