The crowd seem to be enjoying Spiteri's choice of entrance music: AC/DC -TNT. Erik Kramer could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Dave Spiteri's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiteri bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kramer's head backwards.
A slow jab from Kramer misses its intended target.
Spiteri thuds a left hand into Kramer's body.
No joy there for Spiteri, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kramer misses with an uppercut. Spiteri saw that one coming.
Kramer misses with a double jab.
Spiteri is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kramer throws a looping overhand right but Spiteri ducks down to avoid it.

and Kramer counters with a stiff right hand.
Nice uppercut lands for Kramer. That snapped Spiteri's head back.
Spiteri misses with a straight right.
Spiteri tries to clinch but fails miserably
enabling Kramer to counter with a crisp jab.
Kramer moves out of range of the strikes.
Kramer tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Spiteri is able to avoid easily.

Kramer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kramer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
We've been told by Kramer's head coaches at Thomas Top Team that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Dave Spiteri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kramer stuffs the takedown attempt from Spiteri. Spiteri gets slowly back to his feet.

Kramer looks to land a left hand but Spiteri moved out of range nicely.

Spiteri shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Spiteri showed some decent athleticism there.

Spiteri uses his free foot to push down on Kramer's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Kramer.
Kramer is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kramer is bucking up trying to escape but Spiteri cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Spiteri lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Spiteri has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Spiteri! Kramer is hurt baaadly! Spiteri is firing away with more strikes - Kramer is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
