The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Soderberg thuds his right hand into Damione Deathclaw's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Damione Deathclaw shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Damione Deathclaw showed some decent athleticism there.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Soderberg enables Damione Deathclaw to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Soderberg manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
