The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salazar leaves Hernandez with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Salazar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Salazar lands in his opponent's guard.
Hernandez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Salazar is controlling him.
Salazar is in close to Hernandez's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Hernandez has his foot on Salazar's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Salazar works his way back into a safe position though.
