The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dirty fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Chekhov throws a head kick but Dirty moves out of range.
Dirty swings for the body but Chekhov moves out of range.
Chekhov tried to counter with a leg kick but Dirty avoided it.
Dickie Dirty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dirty.

Dirty feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chekhov seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Dirty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Chekhov is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Dirty is looking to take a break and control but Chekhov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Chekhov has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dirty finds it's way round the side to connect with Chekhov's head.

Chekhov cracks Dirty with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Chekhov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Dirty to stand back up!

Chekhov lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Dirty head around and knocks him out cold! Chekhov hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Dickie Dirty was interviewed post fight and said 'I can't beat top guys frequently enough anymore so it's no longer worth it. I am hanging up my gloves.'.
