Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akagi jabs Sung right on the nose. Sung blinks but takes it well.
Akagi scores with a body shot.
Akagi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Sung takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Akagi listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Yasuhiro Akagi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akagi lands a jab to the head.
It looks like Sam Sung has been cut.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Akagi, as that shot connected.
Akagi connects with a body shot that sends Sung's belly button to the back.
Akagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Sung tries to sprawl out of it but Akagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sung manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Sung is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sung walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Akagi leaves Sung with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Akagi closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Akagi pushes Sung against the cage. Akagi is working some dirty boxing. Akagi pushes off with a quick right hook! Sung goes down! Sung tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Akagi moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yasuhiro Akagi!
Yasuhiro Akagi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
