The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doolittle scores with a hook to the body. Diotte takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Doolittle lands a jab to the nose.
Diotte pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Diotte misses with a few strikes there.
Diotte throws an overhand right that lands on Doolittle's shoulder, as Doolittle tries to avoid the shot.
Doolittle thuds his shin into the meat of Diotte's side.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Doolittle.
Diotte is breathing heavily.
Diotte blocks a leg kick.
Doolittle uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Diotte has time to react.
Doolittle thows a body kick. Diotte tries to catch it but that hurt him.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Doolittle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Doolittle steps in with a hook that catches Diotte right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Doolittle follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Diotte looks absolutely devastated.

A relieved looking Doctor Doolittle thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
