Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Halo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Motorhead - The King Of Kings. Peter Parker acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Arthur Halo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo fails to land the takedown.
Halo blocks a head kick by Parker.

Halo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Parker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Halo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Parker has escaped the position, nice work there.

Halo thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Halo goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Parker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Halo but great work by Parker.
Halo tries to improve position but can't.
Parker is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Parker is looking to take a break and control but Halo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Parker is trying to get an arm triangle but Halo is defending well.
Parker trying to control the action but Halo is working from the bottom.
Parker laying and praying for a moment but Halo takes advantage and regains half guard.
Halo won't allow Parker to pass to mount.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Halo is staying active underneath Parker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Parker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Halo looking for submissions off his back.
Halo tries to roll over but Parker keeps him under control.

Parker is trying to control the action in half guard but Halo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Halo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Parker is looking to stall here but Halo recovers full guard.

Halo has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Parker can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Parker told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Halo keeping moving, preventing Parker from controlling successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Halo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Parker doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Parker manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Halo looking for a guillotine here but Parker defends easily.
Halo can't keep his opponent in guard - Parker advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Halo looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Peter Parker will probably get the nod.
That's time! Halo's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Halo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Halo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Parker feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Halos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Parker lands a head shot.

Parker looking to score a takedown here. Halo is defending well but Parker drives through and ends up in Halo's guard.
Parker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Parker wants to pass the guard but Halo is keeping the position.

Halo looking for a triangle here. Parker is fighting it but it looks tight! Halo pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Parker is tapping out - this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Choke). Arthur Halo!
After the big win, Arthur Halo made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Conviction and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
