Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brooklyn Sismey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abel Secoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Columbo Gatti.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Secoy works Sismey's body with a nice hook.

Sismey shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Secoy is trying to defend but Sismey finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Sismey working over Secoy with some ground and pound. Secoy looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Sismey looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Secoy with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Sismey scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Sismey takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Secoy is trying to control but Sismey passes into side control!

Sismey is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Secoy knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sismey is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Sismey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Secoy is trying to escape the position but Sismey is controlling the position.
Secoy pushes Sismey away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sismey gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sismey has an Americana. Secoy didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sismey is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sismey hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Brooklyn Sismey was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
