Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Human Equation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joshua Redding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redding has chosen Alive as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Human Equation!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joshua Redding!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Redding throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Equation counters with a takedown into side control.
The strikes coming from Equation are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Redding struggling a bit here.
Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Redding wants to control but Equation postures up.
Redding is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Equation is staying active.
Equation tries to advance to mount but can't.

Equation wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Redding, who protects the arm well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Redding is looking for a sweep.
Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Redding tries to buck Equation off but Equation is having none of it.
Equation tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Equation throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Redding is not content to let Equation control the position.
Equation is trying to ground and pound but Redding uses the momentary lack of control by Equation to regain half guard.
Equation thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Redding's head.

Redding looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

Equation is looking for a kimura but Redding is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Equation to get the leverage.
Redding trying to control but Equation postures up.
Redding might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Equation haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Equation prevents Redding from improving his position.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Redding is refusing to be controlled, as Equation sits in half guard.
Equation controlling the action here.

Equation is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Redding doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Equation.

Equation seems to be looking for submissions.

Equation thows a huge punch but Redding dodges it nicely.

Redding gets back to full guard.
Equation might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Redding keeping moving, preventing Equation from controlling successfully.

Equation tries to free his leg and advance position but Redding is retaining full guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Redding working for a triangle but Equation defends it easily.
Equation throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Redding works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Equation landing with the ground and pound.

Equation drops back looking for a leg! Redding is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Redding manages to kick Equation off! Equation jumps back into Redding's guard.
Equation controls from within his opponent's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Redding keeping moving, preventing Equation from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Redding is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Equation with a body shot.

Equation gets a takedown into half guard.
Equation slows the pace down in half guard.
Redding is trying to get back to full guard.
Human Equation overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Equation seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Redding does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Equation is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Redding is trying to maintain the position but Equation is very close to passing his half guard.

Equation is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Redding is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Redding manages to get to full guard.

Redding had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Equation defends it easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Equation trying to control the position from guard on top but Redding is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Redding pulls Equation in to control the position.
Equation's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Equation is looking to work some ground and pound but Redding has wrist control.

Redding has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Equation can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Redding being controlled here, momentarily.
Equation trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Redding fails to land the takedown.

Equation feints and as Redding raises his hands in defense, Equation changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Equation engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Equation in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Redding utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Equation controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Redding escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Equation gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Equation passes Redding's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Equation wants to take a breather but Redding is having none of it.
Redding is looking to improve his position.

Equation seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Redding is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Human Equation!
In defeat, Joshua Redding stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry to everyone I let down. I will take this experience, learn from it, and come back like a bat out of hell. You'll all see.'.
