Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott Keene (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Barathian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barathian has chosen Carcass - This Mortal Coil as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scott Keene!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Barathian!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keene swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Keene throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barathian has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Keene dips to his left and cracks Barathian with an uppercut!
Barathian tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Keene paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Barathian ducks under a wild hook from Keene.
Barathian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barathian moves in looking to clinch but Keene pushes him off.
Keene scores with a crisp jab that stopped Barathian in his tracks.
Barathian misses with a double jab.
Keene is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barathian.
Nice defenses there by Barathian.
Keene looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Keene thows a left - swing and a miss!
Barathian throws a series of punches but Keene avoids them all with ease.
A shot to the liver by Keene. Beautiful body shot.
Keene avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Keene throwing a counter right hand but Barathian manages to avoid it.
Barathian throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Keene counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Scott Keene seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Barathian darts in and clinches Keene up against the ropes.

Keene breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barathian throws a series of punches but Keene moves out of range.
It looked like Keene wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Barathian bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Barathian slips a jab from Keene.
Barathian lands a jab to the head.
Barathian jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Barathian looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Keene connects with a body shot that sends Barathian's belly button to the back.
Barathian walks straight into a right hand from Keene - that's dropped him! Keene jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Barathian from any more punishment! Barathian complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
