Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zeke Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Strong Belwas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donovan comes to the cage accompanied by Failure by Breaking Benjamin. Strong Belwas will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belwas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Donovan.

Belwas throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Donovans head.
Donovan lands with a short shot to the head.
Belwas wants to break the clinch but can't.

Donovan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Belwas misses the shot to the body.
Donovan throws a body punch but Belwas moves out of range.
Belwas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Belwas cracks Donovan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Belwas has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Donovan to stand back up!

Strong Belwas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zeke Donovan.
