Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Hopkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hiroshimo Sakamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hopkins comes to the cage accompanied by Manny Pacquiao - Lalaban Ako . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hiroshimo Sakamoto!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakamoto delivers a nice body kick.
Hopkins staying out of range there.
Hopkins moves out of range of the leg kick from Sakamoto.
Hopkins tries to clinch but Sakamoto is having none of it.
Vinny Hopkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakamoto walks into a stiff left hand from Hopkins.
Hopkins tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sakamoto manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Sakamoto is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Hopkins blocks a leg kick.
A punch lands to the side of Sakamoto 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hopkins throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hopkins cracks Sakamoto with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sakamoto slips under a jab.
Hopkins is looking to clinch.
Sakamoto takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sakamoto has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Sakamoto enables Hopkins to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Sakamoto manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hopkins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Sakamoto is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sakamoto is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hopkins is posturing up here but Sakamoto has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hopkins tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hopkins has to tap! Slick submission there by Sakamoto!

A relieved looking Hiroshimo Sakamoto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
